The original post about this is on my other blog, A Graveyard for Lunatics, but I wanted to recap here.
I started crocheting when I was in High School; my mom taught me a few basic stitches, and I quickly became addicted. I made afghans and scarves for a few years and kept the scrap yarn...
A few days ago I came across a website about Amigurumi dolls, which I had never heard of before. I tried my hand at a few, and I love it! They're really easy and sooo cute.
I found this wonderful shop on Etsy. This lady really has some imagination! She also wrote a book, Amigurumi World. (To visit her online shop and see her book, click here.)
The scrap yarn has really come in handy. I had small scraps of tons of different colors, so I used that for practice. I put together this cute little creature; I like to call him a dinosaur.
I gave him to my two year old brother, and I'm pretty sure it was a hit. Some of the dino's warts are coming loose on his back, but now I know where I need to improve!
Here's Little Dino with my little brother...
